Moody's ups Bank of Valletta debt

Moody's Investors Service said it published the rating results for banks in Malta as part of the application of its refined joint default analysis and updated bank financial strength rating methodologies.

Bank of Valletta plc's bank financial strength rating remains unchanged at D+. The rating on its dollar-denominated senior unsecured debt was upgraded to A3 from Baa1 with a stable outlook.
