Moody's rates Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi bonds Aa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Aa3 ratings to the senior bonds issued by the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd.

The outlook is stable.

The bank is issuing series 133 ¥10 billion domestic senior unsecured bond due April 20, 2015, series 134 ¥40 billion domestic senior unsecured bond due April 20, 2017 and series 135 ¥10 billion domestic senior unsecured bond due April 20, 2022.

The Aa3 ratings reflect the bank's C standalone bank financial strength rating, an assessment of very high systemic support probability and the systemic support input of Aa2, according to the agency.
