New Issue: Thailand auctions 18.7 billion baht of bonds due 2028 to yield 2.8663%

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 24 – The Bank of Thailand auctioned 18.7 billion baht of 2 7/8% debt securities due Dec. 17, 2028 in an auction on Wednesday, according to a notice.

The weighted average accepted yield was 2.8663%. The accepted yields ranged from 2.854% to 2.872%.

The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.15.

Of the accepted bids, 16.01 billion baht were competitive and 990 million baht were non-competitive. The bank also accepted an over-allotment option of 1.7 billion baht.
