New Issue: Bank of Thailand auctions 6.5 billion baht of 3-year, 364-day bonds

New York, May 10 - The Bank of Thailand announced the results of its auction in which it issued 6.5 billion baht of government bonds.

Thailand sold 2.5 billion baht of bonds due May 2009 at a coupon of 5 3/8% and a weighted average yield of 5.3145%. The bid to cover ratio was 5.63

It also priced 4 billion baht of bonds due July 2013 at a coupon of 5 ¼% and a weighted average yield of 5.4099%. The bid to cover ratio was 3.61.

Settlement date: May 15

Three-year bonds

Amount: 2.5 billion baht

Maturity: May 15, 2009

Coupon: 5 3/8%
