New Issue: Bank of Thailand auctions 15 billion baht of Treasury bills

New York, March 27 - The Bank of Thailand announced the results of three auctions in which it sold 15 billion baht of Treasury bills, a little below the planned 17 billion baht.

The country issued 5 billion baht of one-month bills due April 26, 2006 at a weighted average yield of 4.08039%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.16.

The Bank of Thailand also issued 6 billion baht of three-month bills due June 28, 2006 at a weighted average yield of 4.44821%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 1.20.

The third tranche included 4 billion baht of six-month bills due Sept. 27, 2006, which priced at a weighted average yield of 4.55415%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 0.79. The tranche was reduced from a planned 6 billion baht.
