New York, Dec. 15 - The Bank of Thailand announced the results of Wednesday's auction of government bonds, which came in two tranches totaling 17 billion baht.
Thailand auctioned 14 billion baht in an offering of 3 1/8% bonds due Dec. 11, 2015, pricing them with a weighted average yield of 3.5373%.
Accepted yields ranged from 3.48% to 3.589%, and the bid to cover ratio was 1.31.
A total of 14 billion baht was offered for this auction.
In a second tranche, the bank auctioned 3 billion baht in a reopening of its 3.8% bonds due June 14, 2041, pricing them with a weighted average yield of 4.2705%.
Accepted yields ranged from 4.22% to 4.3%, and the bid to cover ratio was 3.09.
A total of 3 billion baht was offered for this auction.
