New Issue: Bank of Thailand auctions 5.75 billion baht bonds due 2011 to yield 3.9227%

New York, Sept. 12 - The Bank of Thailand auctioned 5.75 billion baht of bonds due Feb. 7, 2011, pricing them with a weighted average yield of 3.9227%.

The auction size was 10 billion baht but only 5.75 billion baht of bids were accepted.

The bonds pay a coupon of six-month Bibor minus 20 basis points, with a rate of 3.63797% for the current coupon, fixed on June 25.

The bid to cover ratio was 0.97.
