Genting Malaysia subsidiary launches RM 3 billion MTN program

Morgantown, W.Va., April 27 – Genting Malaysia Bhd. announced that wholly owned subsidiary GENM Capital Bhd. has launched a RM 3 billion medium-term note program.

Notes issued under the 20-year program will be guaranteed by Genting.

CIMB and Maybank Investment Bank are the joint lead arrangers.

Proceeds will be used for operating expenses, capital expenditure, investments, refinancing, working capital or general funding requirements.

RAM Rating Services Bhd. has assigned a long-term rating of AAA(s) to the program.

Genting is a Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia-based investment holding and management company.
