ValueAct-led investors buy 1.37 million shares of ActivIdentity

Charlotte, N.C., March 6 - A group of ActivIdentity Corp. investors led by ValueAct SmallCap Master Fund, LP bought 1,367,880 shares of the company's stock between Jan. 7 and March 5.

According to a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday, the shares were priced from $1.79 to $2.05 each.

ValueAct beneficially owns 2,533,154 shares, or 5.5%, of the Fremont, Calif., authentication and credential management solutions company.
