Trigeant confirmation hearing on reorganization pushed back to May 4

By Kali Hays

New York, Feb. 18 – Trigeant Holdings, Ltd.’s hearing on confirmation of its amended plan of reorganization will now begin on May 4 and run through May 6 if necessary, according to a Feb. 18 order from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.

The hearing was previously set to begin on Feb. 19.

As previously reported, in a motion to extend its plan exclusive periods, Trigeant said that if it were not for BTB Refining, LLC’s opposition to the plan, “the confirmation hearing in these cases would have already occurred.”

Trigeant, a Boca Raton, Fla.-based petroleum company, filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 25. The Chapter 11 case number is 14-29027.
