New Issue: Scotia prices $27.97 million autocallable Stars linked to S&P 500

Buffalo, N.Y., April 1 – Bank of Nova Scotia priced $27.97 million of autocallable Strategic Accelerated Redemption Securities due March 29, 2030 linked to the performance of the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be called at par plus an annualized call premium of 8.61% if the closing level of the index is equal to or greater than its initial level on any yearly observation date.

If the notes are not called at or prior to maturity, investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the index from its initial level.
