Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 20 – Bank of New York Mellon Corp. priced $1.3 billion of notes (A1/A/AA-/DBRS: AA) in two parts on Wednesday, according to FWP filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The bank sold $850 million of 2.05% five-year notes at 99.915 to yield 2.068%, or 45 basis points over Treasuries.
These notes were talked in the Treasuries plus 60 bps area and launched at Treasuries plus 45 bps.
There were also $450 million of 2.5% 10-year notes sold at 70 bps over Treasuries. These notes were priced at 99.701 to yield 2.534%.
The 10-year notes were talked in the Treasuries plus 85 bps area and launched at Treasuries plus 70 bps.
BNY Mellon Capital Markets LLC, BofA Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and UBS Securities LLC were the bookrunners.
