BMO to price notes tied to 17 Raymond James Energy Sector top picks

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 10 – Bank of Montreal plans to price 0% notes linked to Raymond James Energy Sector Top Selections due Oct. 30, 2020, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are linked to an equally weighted basket of 17 common equity securities of entities engaged in the energy industry selected in September by Raymond James & Associates, Inc. The reference shares are Antero Midstream GP LP, Continental Resources, Inc., Chevron Corp., Concho Resources Inc., Delek US Holdings, Inc., Halliburton Co., Itron, Inc., Kinder Morgan, Inc., Marathon Petroleum Corp., Plains GP Holdings, LP, Phillips 66, Patterson-UTI Energy, Inc., ProPetro Holding Corp., Pioneer Natural Resources Co., TPI Composites, Inc., Total SA and Targa Resources Corp.

The payout at maturity will be par of $1,000 times 96.6% times the basket level percentage. Because of the 98.6% participation rate, investors will receive less than par if the basket does not gain by at least 3.52%.

The notes will price on Oct. 19 and settle on Oct. 23.
