BMO plans buffered enhanced return notes linked to iShares MSCI EM

Tacoma, Wash., Feb. 10 – Bank of Montreal plans to price 0% buffered bullish enhanced return notes due Feb. 28, 2019 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of any ETF gain, up to a maximum redemption amount that is expected to be $1,235 to $1,275 per $1,000 principal amount and will be set at pricing. Investors will receive par if the ETF falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for every 1% that it may decline beyond 10%.

The notes will price Feb. 23.

The Cusip number is 06367TTB6.
