Bank of Montreal plans buffered bullish enhanced return notes on S&P 500

New York, Jan. 8 – Bank of Montreal plans to price 0% buffered bullish enhanced return notes due Jan. 31, 2019 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of any index gain, subject to a maximum return of 30%.
Investors will receive par if the index fall by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
The notes (Cusip: 06366RZG3) will price on Jan. 27 and settle on Jan. 30.
