New Issue: BMO prices $5.33 million 9.15% autocallable reverse convertibles on Amazon

Buffalo, N.Y., Jan. 4 – Bank of Montreal priced $5.33 million of 9.15% autocallable reverse convertible notes due Dec. 18, 2023 linked to the common stock of Amazon.com, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable monthly.

The notes will be automatically called at par plus the fixed coupon if the stock closes at or above its initial share price on any monthly observation date after six months.

If the notes are not called, the payout at maturity will be par plus the final interest payment unless the stock finishes below the trigger price, 55% of the initial share price, in which case investors will receive a number of shares equal to $1,000 divided by the stock’s initial share price.
