L-3 Communications to redeem $300 million of 3.95% notes on May 20

Columbus, Ohio, March 24 – L-3 Communications Corp. called $300 million of its 3.95% senior notes due 2016 for redemption on May 20, according to a press release from parent company L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc.

The notes will be redeemed at par plus a make-whole premium calculated in accordance with the indenture plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Following the redemption, $200 million of the notes will remain outstanding.

Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the paying agent.

L-3 is a New York-based contractor in command, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, aircraft modernization and maintenance and government services. It is also a provider of electronic systems used on military and commercial platforms.
