S&P affirms Bank of Georgia

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed its BB-/B long- and short-term counterparty credit ratings on Bank of Georgia.

At the same time, the agency said it assigned its ilA S&P Maalot (Israel) national scale rating to BoG. The outlook is stable.

The ratings on BoG reflect S&P's view of the bank's bb- anchor, as well as its "strong" business position, "moderate" capital and earnings, "moderate" risk position, "average" funding, and "adequate" liquidity, the agency said.
