Bank of England books for $2 billion three-year note are $2.2 billion; talk at mid-swaps flat area

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 26 – The Bank of England’s $2 billion offering of benchmark notes (Aa2/AA/AA) due March 5, 2021 are expected to price in the mid-swaps flat area, according to a market source.

The order book for the Rule 144A and Regulation S offering is in excess of $2.2 billion, with the books expected to open Monday.

Barclays, BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Settlement is expected March 5.

London-based Bank of England is the central bank of the United Kingdom.
