Bank of East Asia applies to list $6 billion medium-term note program

Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 6 – Bank of East Asia, Ltd. applied to list a $6 billion medium-term note program on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd.

HSBC is the arranger.

The dealers are BofA Securities, Barclays, Bank of East Asia, Ltd., CCB International, Citigroup, CLSA, Credit Agricole CIB, DBS Bank Ltd., Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC, HSBC, JPMorgan, Mizuho Securities, Morgan Stanley, Nomura, Shinkin International Ltd., SMBC Nikko, Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, Standard Chartered Bank, Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd., UBS, UOB and Wells Fargo Securities.

The bank applied to list the program for a period of 12 months and expects the listing to become effective on Monday.

Bank of East Asia is based in Hong Kong.
