Bank of East Asia to redeem all 4¼% notes due 2022 on Sept. 13

Morgantown, W.Va., Aug. 28 – Bank of East Asia, Ltd. said it will redeem all of its outstanding S$800 million 4¼% subordinated notes due 2022 on Sept. 13.

The notes will be redeemed at a redemption price of S$250,000 per note, along with accrued interest to the redemption date of S$5,356.16.

Deutsche Bank AG, Hong Kong Branch is the paying agent.

The notes were originally issued in March 2012 under the bank’s $6 billion medium-term note program.

Bank of East Asia is based in Hong Kong.
