New Issue: Bank of China sells RMB 30 billion of 4.01% tier-2 capital bonds

Chicago, Nov. 22 – Bank of China Ltd. sold RMB 30 billion of 4.01% 10-year tier-2 capital bonds, according to a notice of listing on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd.

The notes are being issued as part of the qualified write-down tier-2 capital instruments of not more than RMB 70 billion.

The bonds are callable in the fifth year.

The lender is based in Beijing.
