New Issue: Bank of China sells $1.5 billion, €700 million, A$800 million notes

Morgantown, W.Va., April 17 – Three Bank of China Ltd. subsidiaries priced floating-rate notes under the bank’s $40 billion medium-term note program on April 10, according to notices on Tuesday.

Bank of China’s Singapore branch sold $800 million of floating-rate notes due 2021 and $700 million of floating-rate notes due 2023.

Bank of China, Citigroup, DBS Bank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Mizuho Securities, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of Communications, China Everbright Bank Hong Kong Branch, China Minsheng Banking Hong Kong Branch, China Construction Bank Singapore Branch, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and First Abu Dhabi Bank are the joint bookrunners and joint lead managers. Bank of China, Citigroup, DBS Bank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Mizuho Securities are also the joint global coordinators.

Bank of China’s Luxembourg branch priced €700 million of floating-rate notes due 2021.

Bank of China, Citigroup, Commerzbank, Credit Agricole CIB and ING are the joint bookrunners, joint lead managers and joint global coordinators.

Bank of China’s Sydney branch sold A$800 million of floating-rate notes due 2021.

Bank of China, Citigroup, ANZ, UBS and Westpac are the joint bookrunners, joint lead managers and joint global coordinators.

Listing of the notes on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd. is expected to become effective Wednesday.

The Beijing-based bank launched the $40 billion MTN program on April 9.
