Madison, Wis., Dec. 14 - Bank of Canada said it priced C$2.8 billion of Government of Canada treasury bills due Jan. 6, 2012 in an auction on Wednesday.

The average price is 99.94231, and the average yield is 0.916%.

Bids were received for C$6.75 billion of the bills. There were no non-competitive bids.

The allotment ratio was 19.24%.
