Bank of America to price notes linked to the Nikkei 225 index

Seattle, Jan. 25 - Bank of America plans to price an issue of Index Cycles (Capital Protected Equity Performance Linked Securities) due Feb. 24, 2010, linked to the performance of the Nikkei 225 index, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a coupon of 1.125% to 1.625%, with the exact level to be fixed at pricing.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the amount by which the average index return exceeds the total amount of interest paid over the life of the notes. Holders will not receive less than par at maturity.

The average index return will the average of the index's closing level on Feb. 22 of 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Banc of America Securities LLC and Banc of America Investment Services Inc. will act as underwriters for the offering.
