BofA to price coupon-bearing notes linked to JPMorgan via Merrill

New York, Aug. 13 - Bank of America Corp. plans to price 9% one-year coupon-bearing notes linked to the common stock of JPMorgan Chase & Co., according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable quarterly.

At maturity, investors will receive a ceiling of par of $10 for any stock gain. They will share in losses beyond a to-be-determined threshold value of 92% to 96%,

The notes are expected to price in August and settle in September.

Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. is the agent.
