Weatherford three-members committee of unsecured creditors appointed

Pittsburgh, July 18 – Weatherford International plc’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Wednesday by acting Region 7 U.S. trustee Henry G. Hobbs Jr., according to a notice filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The committee members are Rodney Gaughan of indenture trustee Deutsche Bank Trust Co. Americas of New York; Nate Van Duzer of Japan Trustee Services Bank, Ltd. of Boston; and Eric Lucas of Rapid Completions LLC of Newport Beach, Calif.

Weatherford is an oilfield services company based in Baar, Switzerland. The company filed bankruptcy on July 1 under Chapter 11 case number 19-33694.
