Weatherford calls 11% senior notes due 2024 for early redemption

Chicago, Oct. 18 – Weatherford International plc will use cash on hand to redeem $125 million of its 11% senior notes due Dec. 1, 2024, according to a press release.

The notes will be redeemed on Nov. 17.

The redemption will generate $13.8 million in annualized interest savings, Girish Saligram, president and chief executive officer of Weatherford, said in the release.

Weatherford is an American Irish oilfield services company with headquarters in Houston.
