Synchrony Financial markets two tranches of fixed-rate senior notes

Tupelo, Miss., March 14 – Synchrony Financial plans to price a two-tranche offering of dollar-denominated fixed-rate senior notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are the bookrunners.

Both tranches will have make-whole and par calls.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Synchrony is a consumer financial services company based in Stamford, Conn.
