Moody's lifts Bank Leumi outlook to positive

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook on the A2 long-term foreign-currency deposit ratings of five Israeli banks to positive from stable, including Bank Leumi, Bank Hapoalim, First International Bank of Israel, Mizrahi Tefahot Bank and Israel Discount Bank.

This follows Moody's announcement on May 10 that it changed the outlook on Israel's country ceilings to positive from stable and reflects the continued strong likelihood of support from the Israeli authorities.
