AIG’s Validus calls all 8.875% senior notes due 2040

Los Angeles, Aug. 17 – American International Group, Inc. announced that Validus Holdings, Ltd., an AIG company, will redeem all of its outstanding 8.875% senior notes due 2040 (Cusip: 91915WAB8) on Sept. 21.

The notes will be redeemed at par plus a make-whole premium.

As of Aug. 17, $199,115,000 principal amount of the notes was outstanding.

Validus provides reinsurance and insurance through subsidiaries and is based in Pembroke, Bermuda. Parent AIG is a finance and insurance company based in New York.
