Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 8 – Waypoint Leasing closed on a private placement of $200 million of seven-year senior secured notes in three tranches, according to a press release.
The tranches included dollar- and euro-denominated notes.
Proceeds will be used to fund the continued expansion of the business and to free up further capacity under its secured revolving credit facility.
The notes were offered to institutional investors, including life insurance and pension companies.
Goldman Sachs & Co. and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc. were joint placement agents.
Waypoint is a helicopter leasing company based in Limerick, Ireland.
