Fitch affirms Bank International Indonesia

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed PT Bank International Indonesia Tbk.'s long-term issuer default rating at BB+ with a positive outlook and national long-term rating at AAA(idn) with a stable outlook.

Also affirmed includes the bank's short-term foreign-currency issuer default rating at B, subordinated debt rating at AA(idn) and viability rating at BB.

The ratings reflect strong support from its higher-rated parent bank, Malayan Banking Bhd., Fitch said.

The ratings also consider the bank's moderate financial position in terms of asset quality, profitability and capital, the agency said.
