Greenland Global voluntarily suspends trading of 5.9% notes due 2025

By Mary-Katherine Stinson

Lexington, Ky., Sept. 13 – Greenland Global Investment Ltd. has voluntarily suspended trading of another series of notes, according to a notice.

The most recent announcement states that the trading of its 5.9 % notes due 2025 (ISIN: XS1760383577) will be suspended from the Hong Kong Exchange beginning on Sept. 14, according to a company notice.

Trading is suspended until further notice due to non-payment of the interest accrued from Feb. 12 to Aug. 12.

The interest payment was due by Sept. 11, which was the last day of the 30-day grace period.

The issuer stated in the notice that it would make efforts to resume trading in the notes as soon as practicable.

Greenland is a Shanghai-based real estate developer.
