Solavei committee looks to hire Schwabe Williams & Wyatt as counsel

By Kali Hays

New York, July 14 - Solavei, LLC’s official committee of unsecured creditors is seeking court authorization to employ Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt P.C. as its legal counsel during the company’s bankruptcy case, according to a July 11 motion with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington.

The committee selected Schwabe because the primary attorneys responsible for the case, Lawrence Ream and Richard Birinyi, have extensive experience in bankruptcy-related matters.

A hearing to approve the hiring is set for Aug. 8.

Solavei, a social commerce telecommunications company with headquarters in Bellevue, Wash., filed for bankruptcy on June 11. The Chapter 11 case number is 14-14505.
