Fitch ups Bank Central Asia

Fitch Ratings said it upgraded the long-term issuer default rating of Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BCA) to BBB from BBB- due to a corresponding upgrade of the bank's viability rating to bbb from bbb-.

The agency also maintained Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk.’s issuer default ratings and support rating on rating watch positive (RWP) and affirmed the issuer default ratings of Bank Pan Indonesia Tbk. (Panin).

All other international ratings for the three banks were affirmed.

The outlooks are stable.

At the same time, Fitch Ratings Indonesia said it affirmed the national long- and short-term ratings on Bank Central Asia and its subsidiary, PT BCA Finance (BCAF).

The positive watch on Danamon's national long-term rating was maintained and its national short-term rating was affirmed.
