S&P rates Zoetis notes BBB

S&P said it rated Zoetis Inc.’s expected offering of senior unsecured notes BBB.

The rating is the same as the agency’s for Zoetis’ other senior unsecured notes.

Zoetis will use the proceeds to repay its $1.35 billion of 3.25% senior notes due 2023 and for general corporate purposes.

The outlook is stable.
