China's Zijin Mining Group plans dollar-denominated notes

Atlanta, June 17 - China's Zijin Mining Group Co Ltd. is planning an issue of dollar-denominated notes, according to a company filing.

BOCI Asia Ltd. is the bookrunner for the Regulation S notes.

Proceeds will be used for overseas activities, including as capital for acquiring copper concentrates overseas for a subsidiary's smelter project.

Zijin Mining is a metals producer and refiner based in Fujian, China.
