Zambia planning up to $1 billion bond offering this year

Atlanta, June 7 - Zambia is looking to issue as much as $1 billion in bonds this year, a market source said.

Proceeds will be used for infrastructure improvements and power plant construction, the source said.

No other details on the potential bond offering were available Monday.
