Yukos dismissal hearing set for Feb. 16

Washington, Jan. 14 - A dismissal hearing for Yukos Oil Co.'s Chapter 11 case is scheduled for Feb. 16, according to paperwork filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

At the hearing, the judge will hear Deutsche Bank AG's motion to dismiss the Russian oil company's arguments.

Yukos filed for bankruptcy Dec. 14 after learning the Russian government planned to auction off its largest subsidiary and to use the proceeds to repay alleged back taxes.

Yukos' Chapter 11 case number is 04-47742.
