By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., July 20 - A large holder of YRC Worldwide Inc.'s 8½% notes due 2010 is forming a group and has engaged Bracewell & Giuliani LLP for legal advice, according to a news release from the law firm.

The company announced on July 8 that it is formulating a strategic plan to address its capital structure and liquidity needs and has begun discussions with several "significant" holders of its debt securities.

Bracewell & Giuliani said other holders of the 8½% notes who are interested in participating in the discussions should contact Evan Flaschen (860 256-8537 orevan.flaschen@bgllp.com).

YRC Worldwide is a transportation service provider based in Overland Park, Kan.
