Young Broadcasting posts $4.61 million consolidated July net loss

New York, Aug. 25 - Young Broadcasting, Inc. reported a $4.61 million consolidated net loss for July on $11.61 million in net operating revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
The consolidated net operating income for July was $1.71 million.
In comparison, the company reported $2.92 million consolidated net loss for June on $12.52 million in net operating revenues.
It had $19.12 million in cash at July 31, compared to $20.44 million at the end of June.
New York-based Young Broadcasting owns 10 television stations and the national representation firm Adam Young Inc. The company filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 13 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-10645.
