Young Broadcasting posts $2.92 million consolidated June net loss

Pittsburgh, July 23 - Young Broadcasting, Inc. reported a $2.92 million consolidated net loss for June on $12.52 million in net operating revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company had $20.44 million in cash at June 30.

New York-based Young Broadcasting owns 10 television stations and the national representation firm Adam Young Inc. The company filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 13 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-10645.
