Young Broadcasting reports improved $631,026 net loss for September

Pittsburgh, Nov. 2 - Young Broadcasting, Inc. reported a $631,026 net loss for September on $13.46 million in net operating revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The figures showed improvement over the $3.83 million net loss posted in August on $12.12 million in net operating revenues.
Young Broadcasting had $18.88 million in cash at Sept. 30, down from $20.14 million at the end of August.
New York-based Young Broadcasting owns 10 television stations and the national representation firm Adam Young Inc. The company filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 13, 2009 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-10645.
