Yapi Kredi talks $500 million five-year notes to yield 8¼% area

New York, March 7 – Turkey’s Yapi ve Kredi Bankasi AS (Yapi Kredi) was talking $500 million of five-year notes to yield in the 8¼% area, according to a syndicate source on Thursday.

Order books were in excess of $800 million, the source said.

Citigroup, Emirates NBD Capital, Morgan Stanley, SMBC Nikko, Standard Chartered Bank and UniCredit were joint bookrunners of the deal.

The issuer is a commercial bank based in Istanbul.
