S&P rates Yale-New Haven Hospital, Conn., bonds A+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A+ underlying rating to Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority's $55.63 million of series K-1, $55.63 million of series K-2, $53.64 million of series L-1 and $53.64 million of series L-2 2008 variable-rate demand bonds, all issued on behalf of Yale-New Haven Hospital.

The bonds are expected to be re-rated AAA/A-1+ shortly, S&P said.

S&P also said it assigned an A+ underlying rating to the issuer's $174.43 million of outstanding series J-1 bonds issued for the hospital.
