New Issue: Bancolombia sells COP 350 billion seven-year green bonds to IFC

Morgantown, W.Va., Dec. 6 – Bancolombia SA announced it issued COP 350 billion of seven-year green bonds in the secondary market on Monday.

The bonds bear interest at the interbank rate plus 220 basis points.

Proceeds from the offering will be used to finance sustainability projects to combat climate change.

International Finance Corp., member of the World Bank Group, acquired all of the bonds, according to a press release.

The issuer is based in Medellin, Colombia.
