New York, July 9 - Bancolombia SA announced the completion of an in-demand local offering of 500 billion Colombian pesos of ordinary notes, including a fully exercised over-allotment option for 150 billion pesos.
The bank added that the subscription in the offering was for 1.17 trillion pesos, or over three times the size of the offering. Details of the issue are outlined below.
Bancolombia's latest sale is the third in its Bonos Ordinarios.
Duff & Phelps de Colombia SA rated the second offering AAA.
Proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes.
The lead coordinator and lead bookrunning manager for the transaction was Banca de Inversion Bancolombia SA. Corporacion Financiera, Valores Bancolombia SA, Interbolsa SA and Serfinco SA also participated.
The bank is based in Medellin, Colombia.
