Brazil's Banco Votorantim buys back some of four notes series in June

Chicago, July 6 - Banco Votorantim SA said it repurchased a portion of four series of notes on June 30.

The Sao Paulo, Brazil-based bank bought back R$9.1 million of its 10 5/8% series 174 notes due April 10, 2014; R$60,145,000 of its series 5 index-linked notes due Dec. 20, 2012; $71,656,000 of its 6 7/8% series 1 step-up notes due Oct. 14, 2015; and $99,226,000 of its series 100 bonds due Sept. 22, 2016.

After the buyback, the outstanding amounts will be R$173.6 million for the 10 5/8% notes, R$139,855,000 for the index-linked notes, $128,344,000 for the 6 7/8% notes and $100,674,000 for the series 100 bonds.
