Wyeth at outperform by Bear Stearns

Wyeth was reiterated at outperform with a $55 price target by Bear Stearns analyst John Boris. Bear Stearns identified the launches of four high-gross margin new products, product mix and improved plant efficiency as contributing to the company's gross margin expansion. The analyst sees a gross margin expansion of 79.2% in 2010, from 72.2% in 2006. Shares of the Madison, N.J., pharmaceutical company were up 32 cents, or 0.65%, at $49.67 on volume of 2,400,300 shares versus the three-month running average of 4,502,820 shares. (NYSE: WYE)
